A FEW SIGNATURE PROJECTS

  • The quality of our work should be evident from the pictures below and by what you can't see. Some are before and after shots. If you are interested in seeing more, including how some of the jobs progressed please contact us.
  • If you don't see something similar to what you are interested in, contact us and we will be happy to dig into the archives and send you some pictures.

  • David Crane Carpentry purchased the historic "Long Farm" and after two years of painstaking renovation, returned the property to its glory. It was a complete "gut job" - everything was stripped down to the studs. We rebuilt the entire home from the foundation up. Everything is new, except for the molding and doors which we managed to save and restore. Our team completed all finish carpentry, window replacements, roofing, drywall, and the painting.
  • We remodeled the kitchen and added four modern bathrooms. The wrap around porch and rail systems were reconstructed with custom millwork to preserve the historic charm.

New Cabin Construction East Grand Lake, ME

  • In 2013, David Crane Construction built this custom cabin for a returning client. This was a ground-up job with custom carpentry and rustic elements throughout. All of the beams were hand-hewn.
  • Projects like this one are a good example of the carpentry skills of our crew.

LAKESIDE CAMP RENOVATION

  • The name we gave this project does not do it justice. We detached the deck and  placed rollers on ground to transfer it out of the way, to dig for footings, foundation, and an addition.
  • The “Yellow Boat House” was jacked up and fitted for footings, a wood floor and “landscaping”.
  • More pictures to follow.

PARADISE BY THE LAKE -UNDER CONSTRUCTION

  • Crane Carpentry is executing a large scale renovation of this camp situated on East Grand Lake.
  • The plan is to maintain the original charm while equipping the buildings with all the comforts required to enjoy all four seasons.
